Fairy Cave Scenic Spot, located in Yongning River, 9 kilometers away from the city of Naxi, is a typical Danxia Landform Scenic area with 30.68 km² sightseeing area. And forest coverage is up to 90%. Because Jiu Tian fairy and ancient people Ye Lang once refined and lived here, so it named Fairy Cave.There are high mountains and lofty hills surrounded by green features, which is the prominent characteristics of the Fairy Cave Scenic Spot. There are the colored Danxia red cliffs, green bamboo jungle volley, known as "Paradise on Earth".

Scenic area consists of North Gate Buddhist pilgrimage, South Gate Yelang Grand Canyon, central ramble areas, and including Tianquan Temple, Ledao Town, Kangzhan primary school, Zhakou Falls, Tianqing Farm and other scenics. Fairy Cave spreads many folk tales, such as surrender of Yelang, capturing and releasing Meng Huo seven times, scholar sacrificing mother and Zhu De excepting bully. It is the birthplace of Naxi folk song and named "China folk cultural village", the national ecological agriculture and rural tourism demonstration sites.
